Födelsdatum 6/7 enligt torhamn husförhör 1845-1849 Petter Trulson Sodergren's occupation was sailor. He owned his own boats and was captain,and farmer. He met his wife in Saby, and then first they lived in Langoren, an island close to Torhamn. Torhamn means (Tor=God) (hamn=harbor) God's harbor. Any Swedish name with Tor in it is probably very old. He met his bride on Saby where Inger lived. Their children all born on Langoren. They then moved to a farm, No. 65, near Torhamn. Then he moved to Karlskrona in 1835 to an estate No. 50 Drottninggaten called Sodergrengarden. Ceilings of his home were painted in scenes by a well-known Swedish artist. See picture in Blekinge Museum in Karlskrona. As of June 1982 much of Sodergrens in this Museum. The building (many chimneys)was gone by 1992, but the land was seen by Virginia P. Byers. The "Sodergren Bible" (now in possession of Virginia Pratt Byerswho in 1993 had bible restored at a cost of
